Coolidge Corner is one of Brookline’s primary shopping districts, along with Washington Square. Coolidge Corner is home to various historical sights, such as Coolidge Corner Theatre, an iconic theatre that opened in the 1930s with unique artistic cinema. The area also hosts one of the most well-known bookstores, the  Brookline Booksmith, with an outstanding collection of literature from around the world.

The district also contains the S.S. Pierce Building. An iconic piece of Boston history, constructed in 1898, the building has always been a luxury location for shopping. Now housing various high-end boutiques and grocery shops, the S.S. Pierce has a shopping destination for nearly everything.

Grigg’s Park is a natural wonder. Formerly a wetland, the city transformed it into a splendid walking path covered in weeping willows. With the city not too far off, residents enjoy a jaunt in a country setting with the ability to return to the town only a short walk away.

The Country Club in Brookline is not only one of the top-rated golf clubs in the United States but also the first. Members experience a club with an incredible history that is kept alive today with its memorable holes and unparalleled service.

For those interested in automobiles, Brookline is home to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, the oldest automobile museum in the country. Formerly the estate of Larz and Isabel Anderson, the city repurposed it into a museum in 1888 and houses various rare cars and artwork, which change yearly.
