I have just completed my third tenant turnover since June 2017 in a studio apartment on Park Drive, Boston with Melissa’s help. Melissa was recommended to me by another unit owner who had used her services multiple times. I am an absentee owner – living in Washington, D.C., and Brussels – so it is very important to have a reliable and responsible real estate agent who can provide full, on-site support beyond just a ‘listing/rental’ service. Melissa identified, interviewed, and background-checked three different professional and responsible tenants for me. In each of the tenant change-overs, there were several repairs, painting, and cleaning that involved Melissa’s direct involvement and co-coordination between me and the service providers. Melissa also inspected the condition of the apartment when tenants left, assuring me of returning their security deposits. These tenant change-overs have been very hands-on for Melissa and her responsiveness, great communication and professionalism have been outstanding. The last one, in June 2020 has been even more challenging due to the pandemic but she found another excellent tenant in time to move in when the previous one left. Melissa has provided very personalized service and is very pleasant to deal with. I have had a variety of personal real estate experiences buying/selling/renting in the U.S. and three countries in Europe and Melissa is the star.

Melissa was a fantastic person to work with when I was looking for an apartment last year. She helped us through the process, even coming to my workplace to pick up necessary documents and payments from me to make things easier and ensure that we didn't lose the place as a result of not moving quickly enough. Additionally, she went above and beyond what I ever expected providing support and advice when we ran into some issues with an unresponsive landlord. I was able to call and speak with her even after hours, and she did everything she could on her end to help expedite the resolution of issues that had been dragging on for a long time. Then she even followed up with me to make sure we had been taken care of and were happy, offering that if I ever needed any additional help to please give her a call. I would highly recommend her and already have to other friends of mine!

In short, Melissa is fantastic to work with. As a landlord who doesn't get to Boston as much anymore, I struggled to find a listing agent who could make the rental process seamless. I've been working with Melissa for over two (2) years and I can honestly say, I could not be happier with Melissa.
