Originally a swamp, settlers had issues living off the land in present-day Norwood. When farmers downstream of the area began experiencing issues because of a mill, residents moved the mill to the southern edge of town. With this move, both Norwood and its surrounding communities were able to benefit and thrive from clean, fresh water to live off the land.
Today, Norwood is a charming town with a warm sense of community. A town that continues to grow. A wonderfully maintained area with various amenities within a walkable distance. The town's growth has seen the city's exteriors stay up to date while improving homes with the latest in modern living.
